Governing council

Koolunga Primary School shares excellent relationships with our parent body that comprises our governing council.

The governing council works closely with the site leader to help set and monitor our school’s vision and direction, education programs, fundraising and finance. 

The council meets on Mondays at 7pm in week 3 and 8 of each term. 

The Koolunga Governing Council is responsible for: 

  • developing and approving local policies 
  • approving and reviewing our budget 
  • monitoring and reviewing the Site Improvement Plan 
  • consulting with the school community to make sure their views are represented. 

Roles on the governing council

Representation and roles include:

  • Chairperson
  • Vice Chairperson
  • Secretary
  • Treasurer/Finance
  • Committee members
  • Community representation.
